Sinus augmentation is a well documented and predictable technique. Boyne and James at Loma Linda University published the first scientific article.

This comprehensive course teaches the art and science of sinus augmentation.

The participants can expect that they will be able to diagnose and treat even the most difficult cases regarding sinus augmentation.

The course is structured to have three major parts.

  1. Part I. Theoretical sessions will review the anatomy, physiology and the patho-physiology of the sinus, the scientific background and documentations. Long-term, 20+ years expected outcomes. The diagnosis and managements of difficulties and complications.
  2. Part II. A Hands-on session will review the surgical principles. Rotary instruments as well as Piezo-surgery will be practiced. Different surgical approaches including the revolutionary tunneling sinus techniques will be demonstrated.
  3. Part III. Demonstration of surgical room preparation will be included in this course. Live surgical demonstration using broadcast HD quality transmission will make sure that the participants can learn how to treat patients with the most complex anatomical situations.

At the end of this course participants will be able to safely practice sinus augmentation surgery.
